DEDE RAMOS, Founder
cristina ramos
Cristina Ramos is a dancer and certified Pilates instructor from Miami, Fl.
Cristina first fell in love with Pilates in 2010 while earning her BFA in Dance from Florida State University. Having to manage an injury of her own, she learned the importance of cross training your body for prevention of injury as well as the valuable tools within the rehabilitation process through the study and execution of Pilates. Cristina went on to dance professionally in New York City while also starting a career in the fitness industry as a SLT instructor. With a desire to continue her education in the Pilates Method, she received her first comprehensive certification at Balanced Pilates in 2019. After teaching in the field for a few years, Cristina decided to deepen her knowledge to reach more clients. In 2022 she received her second certification from BASI Pilates. Her approach when working with clients at The Body Lab, is to incorporate and guide them through the gentle somatic releases that can occur within the alignment of the body, mind & spirit of each individual through the Pilates Method.
Cristina is passionate about sharing her expertise and talents with each and every client she meets. You can be certain that each session with Cristina will be challenging but also filled with energy and many laughs!
