Private Reformer Session/Duet Sessions | When scheduling a Private reformer session at The Lab, you can rest assured that you are in the hands of an expert. Each client begins their training session with an evaluation and assessment so that together we can create workouts that cater to your needs and strengths. During each session you will always be practicing the essential principles of Pilates, learning functional movement exercises, and having a full body workout with the compliment of the reformer and other Pilates apparatuses. The private session works at the pace that is most beneficial for the client and can be created to compliment any level of experience. It’s your Happy Hour!
Pilates Mat Class | Bring it back to the Mat! During this class you will be flowing through breath and connection of the body and mind. With every class being unique, you will get in touch with your powerhouse through a mixture of body weight exercises, precise, controlled movements that originate back to the original exercises created by Joe himself. This class is a full body workout that will incorporate strength, fluidity and stretching.
Use of small props like, balls, hand weights, bands and foam rollers may also be used during class. As with any class at The Body Lab, modifications and progressions will be given to ensure you feel successful and happy.
Reformer Jumpboard & Cardio Pilates | BLP’s unique approach to cardio conditioning includes the use of the reformer jump board. During this intense lower body class, you will experience the perfect balance between classical and contemporary Pilates, for an athletic, upbeat, and effective workout that delivers serious results. Jumping while supine on the reformer is considered a low impact workout without the vertebral compression that happens during other aerobic weight bearing exercises. We balance out this class with the strength building upper body work on the TRX. Classes are seamlessly designed so the 50 minutes fly by! Some experience is required before incorporating this in to your sessions.
