MEET OUR FOUNDER, DEDE RAMOS
Dede Ramos is the founder and Master Instructor for The Body Lab Pilates.
Dede’s background includes a professional career in Dance, Kinesiology, Massage Therapy and Personal Training. She received her Pilates certification through Stott Pilates and is certified in all advanced coursework and training on the Reformer, Mat, Cadillac, Chair, Ladder Barrel and Injuries & Special Populations. Dede Is also certified in the TRX suspension method and Barre certified with Barre Above. With over 25 years of experience in the Pilates method, Dede is passionate and excited to share her knowledge and expertise with every client she meets.
She has years of experience working with all demographics including the senior generation, athletes, dancers, pre/post pregnancy, and pre/post rehab to name a few. Dede brings all of her knowledge and experience in movement, therapy and fitness to create a unique, productive and effective bodywork session.

At The Body Lab Pilates, we pair years of experience with Master Trainers and YOUR desire for personal wellness. We will partner together to design custom workout programs for you with exercises that are efficient and productive for your body and fitness goals.
Although we are rooted in the classical foundations of Pilates, we bring a fresh, modern approach to your workout that will enhance your everyday life and other ways of movement you enjoy. We believe in the multi-level benefits that a consistent Pilates program can have for ones’ overall health. We strive to teach and achieve longevity of the body through purposeful movement. Movement that is based in functionality and when combined with proper body mechanics and alignment can assist a person to be injury free and body aware.
We are experienced in both group and private settings with the Reformer and on the Mat and are highly qualified to engage in programs with all demographics including the senior generation, athletes, dancers, pre/post pregnancy and pre/post rehab to name a few. We bring all of our experience in movement, kinesiology, therapy and fitness to create a unique, productive and effective bodywork sessions.
Principles of Pilates
Joe Pilates based his work on three principles: Breath, whole-body health and whole-body commitment; with the whole-body encompassing mind, body and spirit.
